The CG Clarifying Detox Shampoo removes build-up from your scalp and curls. Perfect for a refreshing and deep cleansing wash.
The professional CG Clarifying Detox Shampoo strips your hair of build-up. It contains multiple natural ingredients that are good for hair and scalp. Your hair has never felt so clean.
The CG Clarifying Detox Shampoo has an intense fresh fragrance. Fresh, spicy, lively, with a sweet undertone. The shampoo is clearly dominated by menthol. Your hair never smelled so fresh!
The shampoo can be used in the CG method because it does not contain any sulphates. As a powerful but mild cleansing ingredient, we have chosen Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, which is extracted from coconuts. It has similar properties to sulphates and should therefore be used with care. Its cleansing effect ensures that dirt, grease and build-up are loosened from the hair and rinsed away. This also means that hair and skin are stripped of the body’s own oils and can become dry. Our advice is to use the Clarifying Shampoo only once every few weeks when you notice build-up in your hair.
How does Build-up come about?
Even though you may use the CG method to care for your curls, you can still create build-up. This can be caused by:
- natural build-up of perspiration and sebum;
- product build-up;
- accumulation of minerals from hard water or chlorine;
Unfortunately, the entire build-up cannot be removed with a shampoo without deep cleansing.
How do you know when you need the Detox/Clarifying shampoo?
- Your curls look dull;
- fluffs up faster;
- your curl sags;
- scalp itches or flakes;
- Your hair feels and looks greasy.
Fortunately, that doesn’t mean you have to use a stripping shampoo every time you jump in the shower. Only use the CG Clarifying Detox Shampoo if you recognise any of the above characteristics. In general, this happens once every 4-5 weeks. Do you feel that you are experiencing more of the above characteristics? If so, try to check if you are using the right amount of the other products in your hair routine. Too much or too little product can also cause oily, dull, frizzy or sagging curls. Test to find out what works for you!
